Look on yon kitchen wall, y'all, it's the Salsa Mary! Actually, it's just a splatter made when Elvia Alvarez was mixing up some salsa, but like some people see a naked man or a nude Mae West on a pack of Camels, Ms. Alvarez claims she sees the Holy Mother Of God on her kitchen wall.
Ms. Alvarez the goes on to claim it is a "miracle" because her house smells like fresh roses (coincidentally, the exact smell that rotting tomatoes, cilantro and lime juice give off) even though there are no rose bushes anywhere near her home. She also goes on to claim that the stain is a message from God, although one wonders what message that could be beyond clean up your mess!
